The #wardrobebuilder project - Vests, shorts and playsuits

What was I thinking back in January?! Each of these should have their own month! I think I was of the opinion then that I might not need something from each of these categories, but that at this time of year many of us are planning to make at least one of these for the summer.

Vests, shorts and playsuits I really want to add to my wardrobe this year:

This is going to be a big list! Right now I haven't decided what I want to make. As always I want to make them all!
Colette Sorbetto - This is a free pattern download, so definitely deserves a mention here. It's recently been updated so I'm hoping the new download will be really good.
Ogden Cami by True Bias - I've seen this cami vest made by so many bloggers it must be a good pattern!
Louise top by Republique du Chiffon - I like the added detailing on this vest top. A lot of these are quite plain but this top has an added feature which isn't too fussy.
Flint pants and shorts by Megan Nielsen - these trousers come with a shorts variation and I think this would be a good investment for a pattern, given how many different variations you can get from them. The cross over closure adds a pretty detail.
Maritime Shorts Grainline studio - These look like a staple fit that can be paired with other more detailed items.
Chataigne shorts by Deer and Doe - These shorts are similar to the Maritime pattern, but have a couple more details which adds interest without being over the top.
Poppy Playsuit by Sew Over It - I made this playsuit in a sewing class and love the pattern. I would like to make a shorts version for the summer.
Holly jumpsuit from By Hand London - there are so many variations that come with this pattern. You could use this for a playsuit and for a separate vest and shorts if you wanted.
Marigold by Tilly and the Buttons - I've had this pattern since it came out last year and haven't got round to making it yet. There are lots of hacks on the website that I'm interested in and that would work quite well.

Fabrics I'm loving right now for this project

I'm thinking this is a good opportunity to get stash busting as each of these garments would use something different!. I really want to see if I can use some remnants for vests (and prove it was worthwhile hanging on to them all this time!).
In terms of new fabrics for these projects I think these are pretty good:
Sewisfaction have a great range of viscose fabrics that would make excellent playsuits. Viscose is one of my go to fabrics for summer because it's light to wear and has a little more drape than cotton (I find).
Fabric Godmother have pretty much any colour of denim you would want for some shorts.
Sew Over It have lots of prints in stock if you are looking to use stretch cotton for your shorts or for a more structured Marigold.
